Our prayer team

Standing In The Gap

A team that covers our people, our services, and our city in steady, believing prayer.

The Need

Why This Ministry Exists

Prayer is the work behind the work — and it is the first thing a busy church quietly drops. When it's left to chance, the most important labor simply goes undone.

The cost is real but hidden: tired leaders running on fumes, needs that go uncarried, and a congregation leaning on its own strength instead of God's. A church that stops praying doesn't fall all at once — it slowly forgets where its power came from.

Every request that comes through the prayer wall is prayed for by name. This is the quiet work underneath everything else.

Our Answer

How We Respond

The Intercession team meets that gap head-on. We commit to pray — for our church family, every gathering, our leaders, and our city — with consistency, faith, and joy.

  • Every burden has a place. Bring a request and it will be carried, recorded, and followed up — never forgotten.

  • No experience required. You learn to pray by praying, alongside people who've done it for years.

  • Confidential and safe. What's shared in the prayer room stays in the prayer room. Trust is sacred here.

Application

What to Expect

Believing prayer, not performance. The room is honest, unhurried, and expectant.

Weekly gathering

We meet to worship briefly, then pray through a living list of names and needs.

On-call chain

Urgent requests reach the team within the hour through our prayer chain.

Pre-service covering

We pray over every seat before doors open — so people meet God, not just a program.

The Fruit

Proof You Can Point To

I asked the team to pray for my sister's marriage. Six months later they were dancing at her renewed vows. This team doesn't just say they'll pray — they actually do.
